Edition 2025 — Summer Saint Joseph in Ramacca

In 2025, the summer patronal festivities of Saint Joseph once again enlivened Ramacca around the first Sunday of July, following a tradition consolidated over decades. The community experienced days of devotion and celebration with the solemn entry of the statue into the church accompanied by a brass band, evening processions through the streets of the center, neighborhood pilgrimages, and a calendar of performances and cultural events in Piazza Umberto, organized by the Saint Joseph Committee.

The 2025 edition of the summer Saint Joseph festivities in Ramacca, in the province of Catania, took place around the first Sunday of July, confirming the model of the patronal festival of the Etna hinterland. The program featured the solemn entry of the statue into the church with a brass band, Eucharistic celebrations, neighborhood pilgrimages, and the evocative evening procession of the statue along the streets of the historic center.

Alongside the religious moments, the festival offered musical performances, exhibitions, and cultural initiatives in Piazza Umberto, involving the entire Ramacca community in an event that combines popular devotion and Sicilian tradition. The edition concluded, as is customary, with solemn Vespers and the Saint's return to the church.
