Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Festival

In 2025, Porto Empedocle celebrated its Saint Joseph around March 19th, with the usual program of devotion and tradition. The community of the San Giuseppe Lavoratore Parish renewed the Holy Family pageant, the votive tables, the distribution of soup to the needy, and the solemn procession of the statue through the neighborhood streets.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Saint Joseph Festival in Porto Empedocle took place around March 19th, confirming the tradition started in 2009. In this edition as well, the neighborhood community gathered for the Holy Family pageant with the re-enactment of the Flight into Egypt, for the tables set in honor of the Saint, and for the distribution of the Saint Joseph soup, a gesture of solidarity towards the poor. The procession of the statue, accompanied by the band and fireworks, represented the highlight of the festival, organized by the San Giuseppe Grandi Lavori Cultural Association.
