Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph (March)

In March 2025, Riesi renewed its devotion to Saint Joseph with the display of the multi-tiered altar in the Church of Saint Joseph. The community celebrated the traditional 'Lunch of the Saints', with the Holy Family represented by three locals, and shared blessed bread after the Eucharistic celebration, in an atmosphere of faith and solidarity.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Riesi took place around March 19th, according to the custom of the town. In the Church of Saint Joseph, the large multi-tiered altar was set up, covered in lace and embroidery and laden with votive breads, sweets, and traditional products. On the day of the festival, the community participated in the Eucharistic celebration and the Lunch of the Saints, with three people portraying the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, and the Baby Jesus. The day concluded with the distribution of blessed bread, a gesture of charity and sharing that has marked this festival for generations.
