Saint Joseph Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Centuripe was celebrated on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, preceded by a novena held from March 10th to 18th. The Confraternity of the Patriarch Saint Joseph oversaw the festivities, which began in the morning with religious services and the distribution of blessed bread. In the afternoon, the evocative procession of the Saint's statue traversed the heart of the ancient town following the 'Giro dei Santi' route, while traditional 'virginieddi' banquets were set up along the streets, serving as an occasion for sharing and tasting typical dishes of the Enna folk tradition.
