Saint Joseph Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Cattolica Eraclea, in the province of Agrigento, took place as per tradition on March 19th. After the preparatory novena, with the Rosary, chaplet, and Masses enriched by songs in the Sicilian dialect, the town experienced the Patron Saint's day with the dawn alborata and morning Eucharistic celebrations.

In the afternoon, the Giro dei Santi was renewed, with the Holy Family accompanied by the town band in the re-enactment of the Flight into Egypt, along with the evocative Tavulata di San Giuseppe in Piazza Roma, where votive dishes were offered and Saint Joseph's soup was distributed. The procession of the statue and the fireworks closed the festival.
