Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Acquedolci

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Feast in Acquedolci opened on Wednesday, May 14th, with the ancient Historical Fair, a livestock and general goods market, and culminated on Sunday, May 18th, with the patronal feast. In the morning, the procession of children making their First Communion moved toward the Mother Church; in the afternoon, the solemn procession of the Saint Joseph statue took place through the town streets, amidst illuminations, a marching band, and market stalls.

The 2025 edition upheld the tradition that links the patronal feast of Acquedolci to the ancient Historical Fair of May 14th. The livestock and general goods market enlivened the streets of the town, in the Nebrodi mountains in the province of Messina, kicking off the festivities in honor of Saint Joseph.

The patronal feast took place on Sunday, May 18, 2025. In the morning, children making their First Communion, dressed in white and carrying lilies, paraded toward the Mother Church accompanied by the marching band; in the afternoon, the procession of the saint's statue was held along the main town streets, lit by illuminations and crowded with stalls, until its return to the church.
