Edition 2025 — St. John's Festival of Disvetro
2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Saint John the Baptist Festival in Disvetro (Cavezzo, province of Modena) took place from Saturday, June 21st to Tuesday, June 24th. Each evening offered music and a food stall managed by volunteers from the Anspi club, featuring Mantuan pumpkin tortelli with amaretto, risotto from Mantuan friends, pulled pork, and fries, as well as vegetarian dishes (Modenese mushroom burger) and a children's menu.
Among the activities: the colorful bracelet workshop for children (Sunday, June 22nd), the walk to find herbs for Saint John's water (Tuesday, June 24th), the Edo Puppet Theatre at the former school, and an exhibition of ingenuity and skill at the former kindergarten. On the saint's day, Tuesday, June 24th, Holy Mass was followed by the procession with the statue of Saint John the Baptist accompanied by the G. Verdi band from Prato di Correggio.
