2025 Edition

The 2025 Saint John the Baptist Festival renewed the appointment in Canosa di Puglia with the liturgical commemoration of the Nativity of the Baptist, celebrated on June 24th. As per tradition, the Saint John the Baptist Parish enlivened the neighborhood with liturgical celebrations, the marching band's parade through the district streets, and the procession with the statue of the Saint.

In this edition as well, the festival combined the religious dimension with the community one, with moments of gathering for the neighborhood families. An event that, year after year, confirms the deep bond between the Canosa community and its Saint, following an ancient devotion that has its roots in the city's early Christian history.
