Edition 2025 — St. John's Fair
The 38th edition of the Saint John the Baptist Fair in Castel San Giovanni was held from June 15th to 24th, 2025, organized by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with the Pro Loco and local associations.
The program featured a mix of culture, music, and tradition: on June 15th, the opening with "Ricordi dell'Opera" at the Verdi Theater; on June 20th, the new music festival "The bands go to Tidon Valley" with 60s rock bands at Villa Braghieri and the musical "Peter Pan" in Piazza Casaroli. Sunday, June 22nd, the main day, saw the official inauguration on Corso Matteotti, the awarding of the "Castellano dell'anno" at the Verdi Theater, the market fair and Sunday market, the Alpini stands with cotechino and wine, dance performances, and ballroom music orchestras.
On June 24th, the feast day of Saint John the Baptist, the solemn Mass was celebrated, presided over by the Emeritus Bishop, serving as the religious culmination of a deeply significant festival for the community of Val Tidone.
