Edition 2025 — Saint John Fair
2025 Edition
The 153rd Saint John Fair was held in Spilamberto, in the Modenese area, from Friday, June 20th to Tuesday, June 24th, 2025. The event enlivened the historic center with rides, markets, creative and recycled crafts, street food, organic exhibitors, an area dedicated to animals in the Rocca garden, and numerous initiatives by local associations.
The musical program featured a choral tribute to Fabrizio De André, on the double anniversary of his 85th birthday and the 25th anniversary of the alley named after him, with tributes and installations inspired by his albums. There were also activities for children as part of the "Sangiovannino" project, with free workshops and puppet theater.
The heart of the fair, as tradition dictates, was the 59th Palio di San Giovanni: over 1,700 vinegar producers from the Modenese territory submitted their samples to the Consorteria dell'Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale, with the winner proclaimed on Sunday, June 22nd.
