Saint James Patronal Festival

The 2025 Saint James Patronal Festival was held in Balangero from July 24 to 27, enlivening the Municipal Park and the "Ing. Stabio" Pavilion.

The program alternated between shows and tradition: a theatrical evening by the Pro Loco, the opening of the food stand, an art exhibition by the SuperArte Association in the Council Hall, and musical evenings with ballroom dancing. On Friday, July 25th, the patron saint's day, the solemn Holy Mass was celebrated in the parish church of Saint James, followed by the procession, while the evening featured the comedy duo Marco&Mauro. The weekend offered Mass at the chapel of Saint Anne, field games organized by AVIS and the Alpini Group, a reception by the municipal administration, a DJ night, and, in closing, children's games, the Merenda Sinoira, and the Pro Loco polenta in the meadows of Saint Anne.
