Edition 2025 — Saint Ignatius of Loyola

On July 31, 2025, Piedimonte Etneo celebrated its patron saint, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, with solemn traditional festivities. The statue of the Saint was carried in procession through the streets of the town, decorated with lights and stalls, followed by a crowd of faithful and a brass band, returning to the Mother Church late in the evening amidst fireworks. The festivities, part of the 'Under the Volcano' summer program, continued on the first Sunday of August.
