The 2025 edition of the Saint Gregory the Great Patronal Feast took place on September 3, 2025, in San Gregorio di Catania, in the province of Catania. The center of the celebrations was the Mother Church of Santa Maria degli Ammalati, in Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, where the saint's statue is kept.

The church remained open from the early morning, from 6:00 AM until 11:30 PM, to welcome the faithful and devotees on the day of the liturgical memorial of Pope Gregory I.
