Saint Gerardo Patronal Feast

2025 Edition

The Saint Gerardo Patronal Feast was held in Gallinaro (Frosinone, Lazio) on August 10th and 11th, 2025, on the traditional dates. The day of August 11th followed the usual schedule: Holy Masses at the Sanctuary at 6:00 and 7:00 AM, arrival of the Villa Latina brass band around 8:00 AM with a parade through the village streets, gathering of pilgrim groups from Rocca d'Arce, Santopadre, and Ceprano at 8:30 AM with breakfast in Piazza Belvedere, followed by Masses at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM.

In the Church of Saints John the Baptist and the Evangelist, the solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by the parish priest of Gallinaro took place, followed by the procession with the statue of the Patron Saint and the relics of Saints Arduino, Bernardo, Folco, and Gerardo through the historic center, accompanied by the band.

The festival was part of the Gallinaro Summer 2025, the municipal summer program active from July 26th to August 29th, which that year also hosted the GallinaRock festival in early August, the Cabernet Festival, and the Wild Boar Festival.
