Edition 2025 — Saint George the Martyr

In 2025, Niella Belbo honored Saint George the Martyr on April 23rd with Holy Mass and the traditional procession of the wooden statue of the Saint on horseback slaying the dragon. A day of faith and community in the small Alta Langa village, faithful to a tradition that has been renewed every year since 1947 as a sign of gratitude for the grace received during World War II.

The 2025 edition of the Saint George the Martyr Patronal Feast in Niella Belbo (CN) was held on April 23rd, in the wake of an uninterrupted tradition. The community gathered for Holy Mass in the parish church and for the procession of the wooden statue of the patron saint, a symbol of the vow made by the town in 1944.

As every year, the feast brought the people of Niella together around the figure of Saint George, the knight who defeats the dragon, in an event that weaves religious devotion and historical memory in the heart of the Alta Langa.
