Saint George the Martyr Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast took place on May 3rd and 4th, exceptionally shifted from the usual April 23rd date due to its proximity to Easter. On Sunday, May 4th, Holy Masses were held at 7:00, 9:30, and 11:00 AM; at 4:30 PM, the procession of the statue of Saint George toured the town streets, and at 6:00 PM, in Piazza San Giorgio, the solemn Mass was presided over by Monsignor Giuseppe Russo, Bishop of Altamura, Gravina, and Acquaviva delle Fonti. In the evening, at 8:30 PM, the concert by the great musical band Nino Farì – Città di Lecce; at 9:00 PM on Via Diaz, the performance by the Justx Band and, in the panoramic area of Via Moscatelli, the fireworks display concluded the festivities.
