Edition 2025 — Saint George's Festival
In 2025, Portofino once again celebrated its patron saint, Saint George, with the bonfire in the Piazzetta, the solemn Mass, the evening procession, and the traditional 'mascoli' salutes, in a festival that attracts faithful and visitors by sea each year.
In 2025, the Festival of Saint George renewed the traditional rites in Portofino: the bonfire in the Piazzetta with folk music, the translation of the relics, the solemn Mass, the evening procession accompanied by the band, and the characteristic 'mascoli' salutes along the narrow streets. As tradition dictates, special boats from Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure allowed visitors to reach the village by sea.
