Edition 2025 — Saint George Patronal Festival in Collobiano

In 2025, Collobiano celebrated Saint George according to tradition on April 23rd, the patron saint's day. The day combined religious moments, such as the mass and the procession of the saint's effigy, with more convivial appointments, in particular the characteristic '12 Towers Tournament', a card tournament involving twelve municipalities in the Vercelli area.

The Saint George Patronal Festival in Collobiano, in the heart of the Province of Vercelli, followed the traditional calendar linked to April 23rd in 2025. After the mass and the procession of the patron's effigy through the village streets, the community gathered around the '12 Towers Tournament', a card tournament between twelve municipalities: the winner receives the cup and the banner to display until the following year. An event that testifies to the strong bond of the small Piedmontese municipality with its own traditions and the network of neighboring villages.
