The Saint George Oratory Festival is one of the most cherished festivals in Cusano Milanino, a town in the Metropolitan City of Milan known as the "Garden City" for its green urban planning at the beginning of the 20th century. The event takes place around the oratory on via Mazzini and transforms the parish space into a large outdoor gathering place for a few days.

A Festival Born from Volunteers

The Festival was born from the will of Don Angelo Gornati, who urged the oratory volunteers to embark on this path. Since then, the festival has grown to become a regular fixture of the Cusano spring, capable of attracting families and young people from all over the neighborhood.

What to Expect

The program alternates themed gastronomic evenings, concerts by local bands, dance school performances, and activities for children. In the final days of the festival, the fish festival and funfair rides arrive in Piazza Grandi, while along Via Mazzini, gastronomic stalls run by volunteers are set up. It is a free, popular festival designed to be enjoyed with friends and family.
