Edition 2025 — Saint George Ragusa
The 2025 edition of the Saint George Festival in Ragusa Ibla focused on the three days of the external feast, from May 23 to 25, following the celebration of the liturgical solemnity on April 28 with the Pontifical Mass presided over by Bishop Msgr. Giuseppe La Placa.
The days alternated between religious and secular moments: the traditional processions of the statue and the Holy Ark between the Duomo, the Purgatorio church, and the church of San Tommaso, the 'Ballata del Santo', fireworks at the Iblean Gardens, and the final videomapping in Piazza Duomo. Alongside the rites, the program included musical entertainment and moments of strong popular participation in the streets and squares of Ibla.
