Edition 2025 — Saint Gaetano and Sea Palio

In August 2025, Portopalo di Capo Passero celebrated Saint Gaetano with a rich week of festivities from August 7th to 10th. Alongside the traditional events, the Sea Palio at Scalo Mandrie and the Cuccagna a mare, the "Portopalo in Festa" program offered beach games, the Fish Festival, musical evenings with a concert by Anna Tatangelo, and fireworks by the renowned Vaccalluzzo company, during a summer that saw Sicily as the European Region of Gastronomy.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Saint Gaetano Festival in Portopalo di Capo Passero took place with the "Portopalo in Festa" program, spread over several days around August 7th. Among the highlights were the traditional Sea Palio, the regatta of the districts at Scalo Mandrie, and the Cuccagna a mare.

The program, supported by the Municipality and local bodies, combined culture, music, and typical flavors: from the Fish Festival to beach games, up to the concert by Anna Tatangelo and the fireworks by the Vaccalluzzo company, which closed the evenings of the Syracusan fishing village in celebration.
