Saint Donatus Patronal Feast

The 2025 Saint Donatus Feast brought Biccari, in the Monti Dauni of the Foggia province, to life for three days filled with faith and entertainment, from August 6th to 8th. This edition held special significance: the solemn procession on August 7th was extraordinary, featuring the display of all the statues of saints venerated in the village, an event that recurs every five years and drew a large turnout of the faithful.

Musically, the festivities opened with the City of Conversano Brass Band and continued with brass band concerts conducted by Maestro Angelo Schirinzi. The most anticipated moment was the concert by Anna Tatangelo, held in Piazza Matteotti to close the festival. The program was completed by artistic illuminations, a fireworks display, food stalls, craft markets, activities for children, and the traditional fair along Via Giardino.

August 6th — Opening of the festivities

• Concert by the City of Conversano Brass Band

August 7th — Solemnity of Saint Donatus

• Solemn holy masses in honor of the patron saint
• Brass band concerts conducted by Maestro Angelo Schirinzi (12:30 PM and 9:30 PM)
• 5:30 PM — Solemn procession with the statue and the silver arm of the Saint, accompanied by the Santa Cecilia choir; extraordinary edition with the display of all local saints' statues

August 8th — Grand finale

• 10:00 PM — Concert by Anna Tatangelo in Piazza Matteotti
• Closing fireworks display

Throughout the festival: artistic illuminations, food stalls with typical Daunian dishes, craft markets, children's activities, and the traditional fair along Via Giardino.
