Edition 2025 — Saint Dominic Feast

On August 8, 2025, Montevago celebrated its Patron Saint, Saint Dominic, with the customary day of festivities. The celebrations included religious rites and a solemn mass, followed by the solemn procession of the statue through the town streets, carried on the shoulders of local youth and accompanied by confraternities, the faithful, and the brass band. The evening was enlivened by musical performances, food stalls with typical Sicilian flavors, and the traditional final fireworks display.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Dominic Patronal Feast took place in Montevago (Agrigento) on August 8, 2025. The local community gathered around its Patron in a day of intense spirituality and popular celebration.

After the religious rites and the solemn mass, the statue of Saint Dominic was carried in procession through the town's neighborhoods, accompanied by confraternities, the faithful, and the brass band, amidst hymns and prayers, and greeted by the sound of fireworks. The evening offered musical performances, folk events, and food stalls with typical products from the Belìce Valley. To conclude, the traditional fireworks display illuminated the sky over the village.
