Edition 2025 — Saint Ceccardo
The 2025 edition of the Saint Ceccardo Festival, patron of Carrara and co-patron of the diocese, took place on Monday, June 16th, and confirmed the deep roots of the event in city life.
The church of San Ceccardo "ad aquas," at the entrance to the city, remained open all day, welcoming the numerous faithful who arrived at the site traditionally recognized as the place of martyrdom; at 11:00 AM, the Bishop presided over Mass in the small patronal church. In the afternoon, at 6:30 PM, the solemn Pontifical Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea, concelebrated by numerous priests of the vicariate presbytery.
The extraordinary market was held in the streets and squares of the center, with the same hours as the weekly Monday market, while municipal offices remained closed to the public for the patronal feast.
