Edition 2025 — Saint Blaise Feast
The 2025 edition of the Saint Blaise Feast in San Biagio Platani (AG) took place according to the town's established tradition. Festivities in honor of the patron saint began on the evening of February 1st with a torchlight procession and continued over the following two days with a brass band parade through the streets of the center and the collection of offerings for the festival preparations.
On February 3rd, the solemn High Mass was celebrated, accompanied by the rite of the blessing of the throat and the distribution of cudduredda, the traditional pastries of the occasion. In his message for the feast, Mayor Salvatore Di Bennardo recalled how Saint Blaise reminds us of the importance of care, solidarity, and prayer, inviting the saint to continue watching over the community.
