Edition 2025 — Saint Blaise Festival
In 2025, Cittiglio also celebrated Saint Blaise, protector of the throat, with the traditional mass, throat blessing, and distribution of blessed bread, keeping alive a deeply rooted devotion in the community of Verbano-Varesotto.
In 2025, while the church of San Biagio was still undergoing restoration work, the community of Cittiglio continued to celebrate its patron saint of the throat with Mass, the rite of blessing, and the distribution of blessed bread. The devotion to Saint Blaise, rooted in the town for centuries, thus found continuity while awaiting the reopening of the church, an event at the center of the 2026 edition.
