Saint Blaise Festival

The 2025 Feast of Saint Blaise in Rapolla renewed, on February 2nd and 3rd, the rites that have accompanied the devotion to the patron saint of the Vulture village for generations. On the evening of February 2nd, after the blessing of the Candlemas candles in the Church of Saint Blaise, the traditional Bonfire was lit, followed in the dead of night by the Diana with the San Michele Arcangelo band. On February 3rd, the procession carried the statue of the saint through the village streets, with the Blessing of the Throat and a fireworks display concluding the festivities.
