Saint Blaise Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Blaise Festival in Camastra (Agrigento) followed the traditional double calendar. On February 3rd, 2025, the traditional procession of the saint through the town streets took place, accompanied by a marching band, with a solemn mass and the blessing of the throat.

The grand summer festivities, which concluded on September 3rd, 2025, combined the religious dimension — alborata, holy masses, evening procession of the statue — with the popular one, featuring musical performances in Piazza Garibaldi, the cream-filled cannolo and impanata festivals, and the final fireworks display. The festival was confirmed as the Day of Camastra Roots, an occasion for the return of emigrants and their descendants.
