Edition 2025 — Saint Blaise
The 2025 edition renewed a tradition that in Aci Sant'Antonio has roots dating back to 1601. On February 2, after the 6:00 PM procession, the Church of San Biagio hosted the second edition of the Concert for Peace with soprano Angela Curiale, tenor Antonio Costa, pianist Giovanni Raddino, and violinist Antonino Capizzi.
On February 3, the day of the solemnity, the blessing of the throat and bread took place, and at 6:00 PM, the liturgical celebration presided over by Msgr. Giuseppe Sciacca, followed by the lighting of the illuminations with live music and the second edition of "Macaroni and Sweets Festival" in the courtyard of Palazzo Cantarella. The festival concluded on Sunday, February 9, with the exit of the statue, the welcoming of the twinning with Bronte, and the evening procession.
