Saint Bernard Patronal Feast of Desertetto

The 2025 edition of the Saint Bernard Patronal Feast of Desertetto, in Valdieri, was held from Thursday, August 14 to Sunday, August 17. The festival began on Thursday with the arrival of horsemen and horses at the green area of the former ski lifts, followed by an aperitif, a traditional set-menu dinner, a bonfire, and music with accordion and guitar. On Saturday, a non-competitive walk through the hamlets was held for children and teenagers, with a final snack, followed in the evening by roast pork, chips, and beer. Sunday, the highlight of the event, featured the procession and mass accompanied by the children's choir, the traditional grand outdoor polenta feast, and a musical afternoon with folk groups. The event was organized by the Circolo Acli San Lorenzo e Desertetto with the support of the Municipality of Valdieri.
