Edition 2025 — Saint Benedict the Moor

The 2025 edition of the Saint Benedict the Moor Festival confirmed San Fratello as one of the most attended patronal feasts in the Nebrodi mountains. Following the preparatory triduum, September 17 featured the dawn salute, the processions of the statue through the neighborhoods and the historic center, and the fireworks. The musical evenings in Piazza Ricca Salerno, part of the San Fratello Summer program, drew thousands of people: the September 16 show by Luca Virago and the September 17 concert by tenor Alberto Urso, which was met with an enthusiastic crowd.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Benedict the Moor Festival in San Fratello (ME) took place during the usual mid-September dates, with the main feast day on September 17. After the preparatory triduum, the day of the solemnity featured the dawn salute, mass, and the processions of the saint's statue through the Madonna delle Grazie and San Nicolò districts in the morning and in the historic center in the afternoon, accompanied by the band and festive lights.

Regarding entertainment, the evenings in Piazza Ricca Salerno – part of the 2025 San Fratello Summer program – saw great participation: the September 16 show by Luca Virago, a finalist on The Voice Senior, and the September 17 concert by the Messinese tenor Alberto Urso, which attracted thousands of spectators.
