Edition 2025 — Saint Bartholomew

During the summer of 2025, Carpineto della Nora celebrated its patron saint, Bartholomew, on August 24th. The community gathered for a solemn mass and the traditional procession with the saint's statue through the streets of the village, at the foot of the Gran Sasso. As every year, the religious celebrations represented the most anticipated moment of the summer, drawing locals and emigrants back to their home village.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Bartholomew Patronal Feast took place on August 24th in Carpineto della Nora, in the province of Pescara. The day, dedicated to the village's patron apostle, saw the community gather for the solemn mass celebrated in the parish church and the procession that accompanied the saint's statue through the streets of the historic center.

The celebrations were part of the traditional summer calendar of the Gran Sasso village, blending religious devotion, social gatherings, and the appeal of the ancient Abbey of Saint Bartholomew, the historical and spiritual heart of the village.
