Edition 2025 — Saint Bartholomew Rodì
The 2025 edition of the Saint Bartholomew Festival in Rodì renewed the patronal rite that has marked the village's summer for centuries. On the day dedicated to the apostle, around August 24th, the white marble statue sculpted by Andrea Calamech in 1579 was brought out of the Church of Saint Bartholomew for the solemn procession through the decorated streets of the village, accompanied by the faithful and the band.
The day concluded, as per tradition, with solemn Holy Mass and a fireworks display. A deeply identity-defining appointment for the community of Rodì Milici, in the province of Messina, which gathers every year around its patron saint and the memory of the ancient invocation "San Bbattulumèu di Rrudì".
