Saint Antoninus Festival

The seventh Saint Antoninus Festival was held in Travo on July 2 and 3, 2025, in the Pro Loco festival area on the banks of the Trebbia river.

The evenings featured typical Piacenza cuisine at the food stands and live music with ballroom orchestras. On Sunday, Holy Mass was celebrated, followed by the procession to the river for the blessing of the Trebbia river waters, a rite that recalls the legend of Saint Antoninus martyred in Travo and thrown into the stream's waters. Pro Loco president Danilo Covati described the festival as a blend of music, food, and religious tradition.
