Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony with the Fòcara
2025 Edition (second edition)
The second edition of the Saint Anthony of Padua Festival, co-patron of Collepasso, took place in June 2025 in and around the Cristo Re Church. Confirming the success of the first edition in 2024, the event combined the devotional dimension—the neighborhood procession with the statue of the Saint and the Holy Mass—with the warmth of Salento's popular festivities.
In 2025, the heart of the festival was once again the lighting of the Fòcara di Sant'Antonio, the large traditional bonfire built with olive branches gathered by volunteers, a symbol of faith and collective identity for the Collepasso community. The evenings were enlivened by live music and moments of sharing, consolidating an event that, in just a few years, has become part of the town's summer calendar in the heart of the province of Lecce.
