Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony in Pizzuta

In 2025, the Pizzuta district in Syracuse once again celebrated its patron saint, Saint Anthony of Padua, around the June 13th anniversary. The festival featured the usual blend of devotion and popular tradition: processions of the relic and the statue, masses with the distribution of votive bread, brass concerts, Sicilian food festivals, and fireworks, with the participation of worshippers from across the Syracuse province.

2025 Edition

The Saint Anthony of Padua Festival in Pizzuta, in Syracuse, took place in June 2025, around the liturgical anniversary of June 13th. As per tradition, the Saint Anthony of Padua Parish community enlivened the district with the vigil dedicated to the procession of the Saint's relic and the feast day, marked by holy masses, the distribution of votive bread, and the solemn procession of the statue through the neighborhood streets, including the historic stop in front of the Police Headquarters for the blessing of the State Police. The convivial part featured concerts, food festivals in the parish square, and a fireworks display.
