Saint Anthony of Padua Celebrations - Sanctuary of Anzino

The 2025 edition of the Saint Anthony of Padua Celebrations at the Sanctuary of Anzino confirmed the traditional structure of the festival: the evening novena with sung masses by local parish choirs, the First Vespers with the blessing of the lilies, the blessing of the bread at the saint's altar, and the evocative 13-lap procession around the sanctuary. As is customary, Sunday combined the celebrations of Saint Anthony and Saint Bernard of Aosta, both patrons of the village of Anzino, with the procession accompanied by the Award-Winning Musical Corps of Bannio. A festival that, year after year, renews the devotion of the Ossola, Valsesia, and Cusio regions towards one of the most important Marian and Antonian sanctuaries in northern Piedmont.
