Saint Anthony Abbot Festival 2025 in Pedara
The 2025 edition followed the usual structure. On January 17th, the Etnean town in the province of Catania celebrated the liturgical rite, with the lighting of the focu di Sant'Antoni on the eve and the distribution of blessed cucciddati. The external festivities took place on the last weekend of May 2025, divided into three days: Antoniana Day with the twinning between communities, the floral tribute by the Catania Fire Brigade, the procession of the statue through the town streets, the blessing of animals and vehicles, the auction of gifts, and the final fireworks display.
