Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony Abbot in Legri

The 2025 edition of the Saint Anthony Abbot Festival in Legri was held on Saturday, January 18th, and Sunday, January 19th, promoted by the Cooperativa di Comunità Allegria together with the parish of San Severo. Highlights included the inauguration of a didactic herb garden, book presentations, a community dinner, the blessing of animals and farming tools, a polenta lunch, and folk music.

In 2025, the Saint Anthony Abbot Festival in Legri, a village in Calenzano, enlivened the weekend of January 18th and 19th. Saturday was dedicated to cultural and environmental initiatives, featuring the inauguration of the project and didactic garden "Gli erbi boni. Tradizione alimentare" (The Good Herbs. Food Tradition) dedicated to wild and aromatic herbs, the presentation of the book "Liberare la terra dalle macchine" (Freeing the land from machines), and a community dinner at the Bottega dell'Allegria, organized to help fund the restoration of the ancient 18th-century banner depicting the saint.

On Sunday at noon, the blessing of animals and farming tools took place in the square, with the distribution of blessed bread and oats, followed by a communal polenta lunch and an afternoon of folk music and snacks.
