The 2025 edition: the 368th anniversary

The 2025 edition renewed a tradition that has accompanied Zagarolo for over three and a half centuries. The celebrations, organized by the Confraternity of Saint Anthony Abbot together with the Parish of Saint Peter the Apostle and the Saint Anthony Abbot Society, with the patronage of the Municipality of Zagarolo, marked the days around the liturgical feast of January 17th with religious moments and popular events.

The climax arrived on Sunday, January 19, 2025, with the traditional procession and the parade through the historic center, followed by the blessing of animals, farm machinery, and vehicles, the gesture that has always renewed the bond between the Zagarolo community, the patron saint of animals, and the agricultural roots of the Prenestini territory.
