Saint Anthony Abbot Festival

The Saint Anthony Abbot Festival confirmed its role as a key identity event for the Municipality of Civitella San Paolo, in the Lazio region, in 2025. At dawn, the Saint Anthony Fire was lit in Piazza San Giacomo, following the ancient symbolism linked to the Saint.

After Holy Mass, the procession with the statue of the patron saint of animals passed through the village, accompanied by knights, the Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows, and the Brothers of Saint James, concluding with the blessing of the people and their animals. In the afternoon, the animal exhibition and typical products—grilled meats and fresh cheese—closed the day in a festive atmosphere.
