Edition 2025 — Sant'Antonio Abate Fiordini
Twentieth edition, featuring a llama
On Sunday, January 19, 2025, the Fiordini area of Montefiascone celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the Saint Anthony Abbot festival. From 10:30 AM, the area came alive with numerous citizens accompanied by their animals: in addition to many dogs, there were cats, horses, and even a llama, a detail that made this edition particularly memorable.
After holy mass at the Chiesa del Riposo, the traditional focarone was lit, the bonfire in honor of the saint that serves as the symbol of the festival, followed by the blessing of pets and farm animals in the square. At noon, a commemorative tree planting also took place. The day was complemented by the food stand serving traditional tortucce.
The event was carried out, as per tradition, by the Fiordini Onlus association with the collaboration of the Municipality of Montefiascone and other local associations.
