Saint Anne's Feast and Crespelle Festival (Cisterna District)

The 2025 edition

In 2025, the Saint Anne's Feast in the Cisterna district took place on July 26th, a fixed date linked to the saint's liturgical commemoration. As per tradition, the day combined the religious celebration and the procession in the district with the crespelle festival, prepared and fried on-site by the families of the festival committee.

The festival was part of the summer program of the Municipality of Fontechiari, in the province of Frosinone, which every year brings together events from the various neighborhoods along with the initiatives of the Pro Loco Fontechiari APS. For the small community of Cisterna, it remains one of the most anticipated moments of the year, an opportunity for residents and those returning to the village during the summer to gather.
