The 2025 edition

The Saint Anne Festival 2025 in Malvagna confirmed the deep bond of the community with its Patron Saint. On the last Sunday of July, the village in the Alcantara Valley, in the province of Messina, gathered around the traditional evening procession of the 'vara': the ancient statue of Saint Anne was carried on the shoulders of devotees along the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the brass band and followed by the faithful.

As every year, the festival was also an opportunity for the entire Malvagna community to meet, between moments of devotion and conviviality, testifying to the vitality of patronal feasts in the small villages of the Nebrodi.
