2025 Saint Anne Festival in Monopoli

From July 25 to 27, 2025, the Sant'Anna district of Monopoli experienced three days of faith, culture, and popular celebration in honor of its patron saint, organized by the Sant'Anna Parish led by Father Michele Petruzzi and Father Francesco Ramunni.

On Friday, the festival opened with the evening Mass, the blessing of children, entertainment for young people, and a tribute concert to 883 and Max Pezzali. On Saturday, the liturgical day of Saint Anne, the blessing of expectant mothers preceded the solemn Mass presided over by Monsignor Giuseppe Favale, Bishop of Conversano-Monopoli, followed by the procession with the town band, entertainment, comedy, and the traditional fireworks display. The closing Sunday featured the blessing of grandparents, artistic performances, and the lottery draw late in the evening.

For all three evenings, the Panzerotto Food Festival enlivened the streets adjacent to the church, amidst lights and stalls, offering the famous Puglian fried specialty to residents and visitors.
