2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Saint Anastasia Festival in Piombino was exceptionally well-attended. The historical pageant featured over 120 participants in period costumes along the streets of the center, accompanied by flag-wavers and the blessing of the banner dedicated to the Saint. The Archers' Palio, contested in Piazza di Cittadella between the various city districts, concluded with the triumph of the Rione Tolla. The program also included a solemn mass in the co-cathedral of Sant'Antimo and the traditional medieval banquet in the cloister, featuring dishes inspired by period recipes and performances by the Ombre di Montecoronato group.
