Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Festival confirmed the vitality of one of the most heartfelt patronal feasts in the Salento region of Lecce. In the town of Novoli, on June 20 and 21, the community gathered around the "saint of youth" with a program that intertwined moments of faith and secular events.

The solemn procession of the statue traveled through the streets of the historic center accompanied by brass bands, while liturgical celebrations marked the festival days. In Piazza Regina Margherita, there was no shortage of brass band concerts, evening shows, and artistic illuminations, with food stands offering the essential cazzateddrhe and pittule. A popular festival that renews the deep bond between Novoli and its patron saint every year.
