Sagre dala Bisate

The 2025 edition, the 53rd Eel Festival, was held from 18 to 28 July in the park on the bend of the Stella River in Ariis. Over two weekends, the food stands featured eel from the Stella River, the true star of the festival, along with grilled meats, local wines, and beers. The musical programme was rich, with numerous dance orchestras — including Stefano e i Nevada, Franco Bel, Orchestra Fantasy, Collegium, and Gimmy e i Ricordi — and DJ sets for the younger crowd. Completing the festival were raffles, chainsaw carving exhibitions, the Sunday artisan market, and the grand concluding fireworks display. Among the nearby attractions were visits to the Regional Aquarium and the park of Villa Ottelio. Organised by Pro Loco Ariis APS, in honour of the patron saint Saint James the Apostle.
