Sagra te lu Ranu 2025: the 31st edition
The 31st edition of the Sagra te lu Ranu was held in Merine di Lizzanello (LE) from July 18th to 20th, 2025. Organized by the San Giovanni Paolo II Parish of Merine and the Festival Committee, with Father Luca Nestola, the event was officially presented at Palazzo Adorno, the seat of the Province of Lecce.
As per tradition, for three nights, the village's historic center welcomed thousands of visitors with food stalls serving ranu stumpatu and Lecce specialties, evenings of Salento folk music and pizzica, and a rich craft market. All proceeds from the edition were donated to charitable works, including the redevelopment of the children's playground at the parish oratory, confirming the festival's charitable and community-focused mission.
