Edition 2025 — Sagra ta Scurdijata
The 21st edition of the Sagra ta Scurdijata took place on August 8 and 9, 2025, in the Pietra Bianca district, along Via Spagna, in Casarano (LE). Two evenings dedicated to Salento's peasant tradition, centered on the tasting of scurdijata — the humble dish made from stale bread, boiled vegetables, legumes, potatoes, and olive oil — and other typical Salento dishes.
The musical program accompanied the evenings: the first evening, August 8, featured a mix of entertainment and live music, while the second evening, August 9, was entrusted to the group I Trainanti, specialized in Salento folk music, who brought the most authentic atmospheres of the local musical tradition back to the stage. An event that, once again, combined good food, conviviality, and the memory of rural heritage.
